TED GARVER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarship Overview
The family of Ted Garver has established a scholarship at UW-Superior in his memory.  The award will be given annually to a UW-Superior men's hockey team assistant that wishes to continue his education  at UW-Superior.

Indicate on your check/money order that the contribution goes to the Ted Garver Memorial Scholarship to ensure the gift goes to the proper account.  

Annually, players entering their fifth year or enrolling in graduate studies will apply for the scholarship.  When all applications are submitted, UW-Superior's Athletic Director will review and then choose the recipient.  Should no qualified candidates apply, no scholarship will be given for that year.  Athletes must re-apply for the scholarship each year and only one recipient will be named each year.

The Ted Garver Memorial Golf Scramble
Support for the fund has come from private contributions as well as through contributions by sponsors and participants in the Ted Garver Memorial Golf Tournament.  The tournament is organized by the Chisholm Volunteer Fire Department, of which Ted was a member for 24 years (1979-2003).
