2008-09: Started his senior season on defense...Had three points, his first multi-point game, against St. Mary's on November 1...Scored the game-winning goal in 5-1 win over Finlandia on December 13...Goal also established a new career-high for goals in a season (3)...Named 2009 All-NCHA.  2007-08: Switched numbers again, this time from 9 to 19...Scored a career-high two goals in junior campaign...Spent more time on defense than forward.  2006-07: Changed from #16 to #9 in his sophomore season...Battled back and wrist injuries during sophomore season...Had single assists against Lake Forest and River Falls in the season's first half...Injured his wrist against Finlandia December 16 and missed several weeks...Injured his back a few weeks earlier and missed time as well.  2005-06: Racked up 17 penalty minutes by getting in a fight in his first collegiate game against UW-Stevens Point...Lone goal was a power play marker against Gustavus...Played center, wing and defense as a freshman...Missed several games with ankle injuries.  Before UWS: What you see is what you get with Kuntz, a character player with the intangibles necessary to put a team over the top...Scored 7-15-22 last season with the Weyburn Red Wings...Captain of team that won the Royal Bank Cup as Canada's Junior A National Champions...Was also an SJHL All-Star...Plays effectively at both forward and defense.
