2008-09: Got off the shnide when he picked up an assist, his first career point, in win over St. Mary's on November 1.  2007-08: Appeared in 11 games as a freshman without recording a point.  Before UWS: Grinding playing style wears out opponents...Size makes him perfect to be a power forward...Alberta native played in several places in the British Columbia Hockey League...Finished last season with the Powell River Kings, the same team that brought former Yellowjacket Randall Smisko to the program...Also played with South Surrey in the BCHL and Brooks in the AJHL...Had eight points in 49 games in 2004-05 with South Surrey...Production increased in 2005-06 when he put up 21 points in 58 games for the Eagles...Finished his junior career with 16 points in 53 games for Powell River in 2006-07.  Personal: Born October 5, 1986...Son of Rob and Marlene Wiest.
