Assistant Coach Rodney Graham
Rodney Graham enters his third year as an assistant coach with the
Yellowjackets. Graham’s
primary duties include running the team’s forwards, working with the
special team’s units and coordinating recruiting.
Prior to joining the staff, he was an assistant with the
Yellowjacket women’s program for three seasons, where he performed
the same duties he does currently.
Graham also ran a successful hockey school in
Superior
for several years and was a youth hockey coach there beginning in
1998.
A native of Fairbanks,
Alaska, Graham has a four-year
standout for the Yellowjackets from 1993 to 1997.
He is one of five players to play on all four final four
teams during that era.
In his four seasons, Graham appeared in 129 games, the second
highest total in school history.
He scored 33 goals and added 83 assists for 116 points.
He is one of 38 players in school history to top the
100-point plateau. His
83 assists tie him for tenth all-time in school history and his 116
points tie him for 22nd in the record book.
Graham played two seasons of junior hockey with the Omaha Lancers,
producing over a point-per-game in his two seasons there.
He also spent a season in the BCHL with the Bellingham Ice
Hawks.
Graham resides in Superior
with his wife Shannon and their daughters Kayleigh (13) and Madelyn
(9).
Assistant Coach Rob Anderson
Rob Anderson is beginning his first season as an assistant coach
with the Yellowjackets. Anderson’s primary
responsibility will be working with the team’s goaltenders.
Anderson, a native of
Superior, played four seasons (1999-2003) at
the University of
Minnesota-Duluth.
In his career, Anderson appeared in 79 games for the
Bulldogs, compiling a 24-38-5.
His is sixth on the school’s all-time goaltending chart in
goals against average (3.57) and seventh in save percentage (.892).
Following his college hockey career, Anderson played some professional hockey with
the Pee Dee Pride (ECHL), Kalamazoo Wings (UHL) and the Lubbock
Cotton Kings (CHL).
Anderson
resides in Superior.
