Extra Time, Part I – The 'Jackets have established a team record by going to overtime ten times so far this season. That breaks the record of nine, previously held by the 2004-05 team.
Extra Time, Part II – With all the overtime hockey, the 'Jackets have played 43:40 (or just over two periods) of extra hockey this season.
Kiss Your Sister – Friday's tie with St. Scholastica was the 'Jackets eighth of the season, giving them the school record for ties in a season, bettering the mark of seven set by the 2001-02 national championship squad.
Playoff Sweeps – The 'Jackets haven't swept a first-round playoff series, or any playoff series for that matter, since dispatching St. Scholastica in round one in 2004-05.
Playoff History – The 'Jackets will be meeting UW-Eau Claire in the first round of the playoffs for the fourth time in school history. They have won the previous three meetings and won them all via the two-game sweep.
Iron Men – Four Yellowjackets - Logan Isley, Derek Paige, Seth Reda and Andrew MacKenzie - played in all 25 regular season games.
The Captain Returns – Dustin Cosgrove returned to the lineup against St. Scholastica in the season finale, just his sixth game of the season.
He Loves Playing The Saints – Braden Desmet had three points Friday against St. Scholastica, and now has nine points in six career games against them.
To The "A" And Back – Former Yellowjacket Dale Lupul was signed away from Bossier-Shreveport of the CHL by the Quad City Flames of the AHL, the top minor league affiliate of the Calgary Flames. But without playing a game, he was let go and reported back to Bossier-Shreveport.
Stingray Sensation – Former Yellowjacket Jeff Glowa is the captain of the Hull Stingrays in Englands top professional league for a second straight season. His coach in Hull says "what can I say about Jeff Glowa that hasn't already been said? He is one of my favourite players of all time as a coach. He's a guy who will give 110% everyday in every shift."
#2 – Former Yellowjacket Josh Liebenow, playing this season in Germany, is second on his team in scoring with 32 points in 43 games.
