Saturday's games are now in the books and the NCHA playoff picture has come into complete focus.  The Yellowjackets, by way of Friday's tie with St. Scholastica, will be the league's #4 seed for the second year in a row and will take on the Blugolds of UW-Eau Claire.  The Blugolds jumped into fifth place in the standings after they defeated UW-Stevens Point on Saturday.

The pairings for the first round of the NCHA playoffs are as follows.

#8 Lake Forest at #1 St. Norbert
#7 St. Scholastica at #2 UW-River Falls
#6 UW-Stevens Point at #3 UW-Stout
#5 UW-Eau Claire at #4 UW-Superior

The 'Jackets (12-5-8) will take on a team that defeated them 3-1 in December, and they in turn defeated 2-1 in overtime last week.  The series will be played Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23 at Wessman Arena. Game times will be 7:05 p.m. and can be heard live locally on KUWS 91.3 FM, with the pre-game show beginning at 6:45 p.m.  If you are outside the local listening area, you can tune in via the Internet at www.kuws.fm.  Jon Garver and Mike Sylvester will have the call.  The video stream of the game will also be available at www.ifan.tv.
