Unhappy Ending: Saturday night marked the first time the 'Jackets failed to advance to the Frozen Four when they were playing the quarterfinals on home ice.

First Time For Everything: Saturday also marked the first time that the 'Jackets have lost to Gustavus, who they are now 8-1-1 against all-time.

The Record Setter: Chad Beiswenger ends his career as one of the most decorated goaltenders in UWS history.  He leaves third all-time in games played (75), third in wins (50), and sixth in saves (1801).  He holds the career record for goals against average (2.07), save percentage (.921) and shutouts (14).

Haven't Seen This Before: After not losing at home all season, the 'Jackets dropped their final two games on home ice.  It was also the only time all season that the 'Jackets lost back-to-back games.

It's Been A While: Saturday's game was the only time this season that the 'Jackets have been shut out.  Additionally, it was almost nine years to the day since the last time the 'Jackets were shut out in a playoff game.

Scoring Title: Junior Braden Desmet paced the 'Jackets in scoring this season, the second time in his three years that he has sat atop the team's scoring chart.

Iron Men: Eight players appeared in every game this season for the 'Jackets - Braden Desmet, Chad Beiswenger, Andrew MacKenzie, Seth Reda, Talon Berlando, Logan Isley, Tyler Fletcher and Brian Bina.
