| BEISWENGER NAMED NCHA PLAYER OF THE WEEK |
| More honors came down the
road on Wednesday for Yellowjacket goaltender Chad
Beiswenger (Sr. Moorhead, Minnesota), who was named NCHA
Player of the Week for his performance last weekend. Beiswenger helped the 'Jackets win a pair of NCHA road games at UW-Stout and UW-River
Falls. He went 2-0-0 on the week, with a 0.50 goals against
average and a .980 save percentage. It marked the first time
the 'Jackets had swept the road series at Stout and River Falls
since the 2002-03 season.Beiswenger is the first Yellowjacket to earn NCHA Player of the Week honors since the week of January 24, 2005, when Mike Wiggins was honored. His honor also came after a sweep of River Falls and Stout, but those games were at Wessman Arena. Click here for the NCHA press release. The 'Jackets return home on Friday, November 21 to take on Lake Forest.
