Wilson Honored By WIAC

Yellowjacket forward Chris Wilson (Sr. Prince Albert, Saskatchewan) was named WIAC Player of the Week for the week of November 30.  Wilson had five points in a pair of Yellowjacket wins, over Marian and St. Thomas.

"Chris started a little slow but has been tremendous the past few weeks.  He definitely deserved it after the week he had last week," said Yellowjacket Head Coach Dan Stauber.

Wilson had a pair of assists in Friday's 5-3 win over Marian.  The next night he factored in all the scoring, scoring a goal and assisting on the other two in a 3-2 come from behind win over St. Thomas.  Wilson's goal was the first shorthanded goal of the year for the Yellowjackets.

Wilson is the first player honored by the NCHA or WIAC this season.  He won the same honor in February of last season.
