Bits and Pieces of 'Jacket Hockey Info

So Long Seniors:
With the loss to Hamline, the Yellowjackets saw goodbye to four seniors - Logan Isley, Talon Berlando, Matt Wiest and Jesse Junkermeier.

And Then There Was One: Next year's team will have just one senior - Toronto native Tom Budziakowski.  That's the smallest senior class since 1997-98 when there was also only one senior.

Iron Men: This season five players played in all 30 games - Talon Berlando, Tyler Klein, Justin Faryna, Chad Blanleil and Pat Dalbec.

Top Of The Charts:
The top returning scorer for next year's squad is Justin Faryna, whose 23 goals and 38 points are tops among all eligible returners.

Like Uncle, Like Nephew:
Jesse Junkermeier leaves the Yellowjackets with 31 career points, the exact same number that his uncle, Dan Laughlin, accumulated in his career with the Yellowjackets.

Many Happy Returns:
The Yellowjackets will return six of their top seven scorers, their top two defense pairs and all three goaltenders to next year's team.

Poll Position: The Yellowjackets came in at #11 in the final 2010-11 edition of the USCHO Division III men's hockey poll (seen below).  It was their highest ranking of the season.  Look for them to be ranked even higher in next season's pre-season poll.
